IX Center Armored Carousel Horse

   This Armored Carousel Horse was designed and carved by Joe Leonard and staff of Custom Woodcarving, Garrettsville, Ohio.

The horse is the same size and style as the 17 Armored Horses that they also created for the Disneyland Paris Carousel in 1990/1991.

It was originally designed and hand carved for a collector in Dallas, Texas.

It recently became available and was purchased by the IX Center (Cleveland, Ohio) for permanent display.

The facade was painted by Liz Eustace.
